About

Someone should be keeping watch. That’s the whole idea.

Kaval is Tamil: காவல், the act of keeping watch. It’s an AI guardian that checks scam messages, suspicious links, forwards, screenshots, and breach exposure, built by Analog Intelligence Pvt Ltd.

How verification works

The rules Kaval checks by

Evidence before verdicts

Every check runs against live sources: fact-checker databases, official domains, breach corpora, and 145+ trusted news and reference outlets. Kaval cites what it finds, so you can see why it reached a verdict, not just what the verdict is.

Built for how scams actually arrive

Scams in India arrive as WhatsApp forwards, SMS links, QR codes, and screenshots. Kaval accepts all of them directly, opens suspicious links in a sandbox instead of on your phone, and answers in plain language.

Honest about uncertainty

When the evidence is thin, Kaval says so. A verification tool that guesses confidently is worse than no tool at all, so unclear cases are labelled unclear, with the safest next step.

Privacy by default

Messages are checked to answer you, not to build advertising profiles. What you forward stays between you and Kaval, and the privacy policy is written to be read.
